Distance Learning Adopted Due to COVID-19


Acting on the latest advices published by the Higher Education Council regarding the coronavirus outbreak, Yildiz Technical University has taken the following additional measure:


- Effective from Monday, March 23rd, 2020 the distance learning will start.

- All courses will be held synchronously on the online tool at in line with the official course schedules.

- Depending on the duration of the suspension of face-to-face activities, YTU will determine how to proceed for the assessment and examination procedure. If necessary , the academic calendar will be reprogrammed.

- Students should check their YTU student e-mail accounts ( regularly during the distance learning period. If you do not remember your password, send an e-mail to

- Turkish Language Course for Erasmus students, which is an extra-curricular course, will hopefully be added to the tool soon.
