NOMINATION

The students should be nominated by their home institutions to before they start their applications.

Applications made without nominations are not valid.

 

 

APPLICATION INFORMATION

Upon the nomination, you will receive an e-mail and a guide from the YTU Erasmus office, explaining the steps you need to follow.

 

ONLINE APPLICATION

 

The application deadlines are:

  • Fall semester/full year   : 15 May – 15 July
  • Spring semester            : 15 October – 15 December

Nominations and applications received after the stated deadlines are not evaluated.

 

You must complete the online incoming student application through the tool at www.ytuerasmus.yildiz.edu.tr. The application tool is active only in the application periods.

 

 

 

 

 

 

APPLICATION DOCUMENTS

 

Here is an overview of the application documents you need to upload to the application tool within the deadlines. For more details, check the application guide you receive after nomination.

 

1. Copy of the passport ID page

2. Official transcript of records

3. Passport size photo for the student ID

4. Learning Agreement (section before the mobility) signed by the student and the home university: You can use your home university's form OR use the YTU's (see Forms and Downloads). You can choose your courses from the course catalogue at http://www.bologna.yildiz.edu.tr/ 

The course catalogue lists all the courses that may be offered within a department. Please do not assume that the courses on the course catalogue will be offered during the semester or year you are here on exchange. This resource should only be utilized as a general guide. Once courses are confirmed for a particular semester, they can be found in SIS or on the departmental websites - and this will be during the course registration period at the soonest.

APPLICATION PROCESSING

 

Allow 4-6 weeks for processing. Check your e-mail and the application tool regularly as we may need to request more or updated information/documentation from you.

 

 

DECISION

 

After you complete your online application, the Erasmus office sends it to the departmental coordinator for approval. Once your application is approved and your Learning Agreement is signed by the departmental coordinator, your can download duly signed and stamped Learning Agreement and Letter of Acceptance from the application tool.
