Erasmus interns are higher education students from the Erasmus+ Program countries who work for a corporation, organization, or institution in another Program country for 2–12 months during their studies (or shortly after their studies).

As a framework for this mobility, there is no inter-instutional exchange agreement between YTU and the intern's home university. In this way, Yldz Technical University can be compared to a company. An agreement, on the other hand, must always be structured.(written approval from the related department) During the internship, the intern will be awarded a grant from their home university.
